To me this game signifies a defeat for gameplay. Good (not excellent, but good) graphics, music and "plot" (which could be summarized as "Doomguy with a boner"), and above all a humble, agreeable business model of "pay if you liked it". But the gameplay is arguably shit. I mean there's nothing wrong with it, but it would pass as a preinstalled game included in an obscure brand of feature phone, gameplay-wise.

The gameplay is so secondary, asking for hints is how you get to the story, not how you progress through the game, and most of the levels are straightforward. Yet for all intents and purposes, it presents itself as a game first, and not a visual novel.

What can we learn from this, especially the /agdg/ anons wishing to learn from this meme success story? That business model is key? That being able to play as gigachad is in demand? That waifus are a religion?

Marvel's Avengers video games is 2/5 stars. I think it is fair to say that the gameplay on 'Hard' difficulty is alright for the game's playability; but what caused me to make this post was the Indian Muslim character.
